it's good for you

nobody wants to be told what's good for them
but your mind wants to learn
that's what it's there for

from the moment you're born
your brain opens synapses by the million and you start your life full of
curiosity

so why would you stop?
your capacity to learn is virtually unlimited
and
giving your brain new things to work out
and new ways of doing things
is what keeps it going
learning new things is
literally
​healthy

apart from which learning new things makes you feel good because 
every time you learn something new you get a sense of achievement which in itself is
lovely

and then you never know you may even be able to put your new skill or knowledge to use somehow
though whether you do or don't does not even matter
the fact alone that it develops your mind and enhances your body
means that it nurtures your soul
and that means 
it's good for you
some other things that are good for you
